Documents Required to Apply Online
The following list of documents would be required while filling the DDA Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme online application form.
- Proof of Identity: The required identity proof is a passport or Aadhaar card or voter ID or any other ID issued by the government.
- Proof of Address: The required documents for address proof would include any electricity bill and an Aadhaar card and a bank passbook.
- PAN Card: Applicant’s PAN card is required. Co-applicant also has to upload his/her PAN card if there is any co-applicant.
- Income Certificate: This document is only for EWS applicants.

How to Apply Online
The application process for the DDA Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme 2024 is online. Follow the steps to apply the flat.
- Register on the DDA Website: Go to the official website www.dda.gov.in. An account will be created when you enter your PAN details and other personal details.
- Pay Registration Fee: Pay registration fee online at ₹ 2,500. You cannot get a refund after this.
- Select Flat: After registration, you are able to see the list of available flats and opt for your desired flat
- Booking Payment: Booking Payment within 15 minutes-₹50,000 for EWS and ₹1,00,000 for LIG.
- Confirmation: You will receive a demand-cum-allotment letter both online and via SMS/Email after successful booking.
Payment Process
- Booking Payment: This is done at the time of selection of flat and booking.
- Final Pay:
- Make the payment within 60 days to get an interest-free period.
- After that, you will get an extension of another 30 days with a 10% interest rate.
- Person with Disability, Divyangjan: They can make the payment in a maximum of 15 years at an interest rate of 10% per annum.
Amount forfeited in case of delay or failure to pay and flat could be reallocated.
Allotment and Possession Process
- Allotment Confirmation: Demand-cum-allotment letter will be issued within 24 hours after the payment confirmation.
- Document Submission: Required documents need to be uploaded on the official portal before possession.
- Physical Possession: It will be handed over after completing all the formalities. Any delay in possession may create additional charges.
Other Important Details
- Conveyance Deed: Allottes have to pay the cost for the conveyance deed. It will include an e-stamp and registration. DDA will not cover these charges.
- Restrictions on EWS Flats: EWS category flat owners cannot transfer ownership for five years after the possession.

What is the registration fee?
The DDA Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme registration is ₹2,500. This is a non-refundable amount. You can not get it back after you make the payment.
